Designed for a treatment capacity of 4 tons per hour and a water recovery rate of 45%, the system addresses one of the most challenging industrial effluent profiles in the pharmaceutical sector. The raw wastewater features COD levels up to 500 mg/L, TDS concentrations reaching 400 mg/L, strong alkalinity (pH 13), and high chloride content — conditions that frequently cause fouling and scaling in conventional reverse osmosis systems.
Tongjie Environmental's STRO membrane technology offers a distinct advantage: its patented open-channel, low-fouling flow path design minimizes membrane blockage and enables stable, long-term operation even under extreme water quality fluctuations.
